Laughter in the winter brings good fortune.

At Smile Rink Sapporo everyone from children to adults can enjoy ice skating together.
In 2025, the ice rink will be moved from Sapporo Kita 3-jo Plaza to Odori Park 3-chome and will be held in conjunction with the Sapporo Snow Festival.

Gloves For Sale

1 pair: 300 yen All skating rink entrants are required to wear gloves.
You may also use your own gloves.

Rental Skates (included in ticket price)
Available Sizes

Available from 20cm to 30cm (in increments of 0.5cm). Available from 15cm to 19cm (in increments of 1cm).
You can bring your own skates. (May declined if your blades are too sharp.)

Free Helmet Rental

Children under 6 years old must wear a helmet.
Sizes range from approximately 55cm to 61cm.
You can bring your own protector.

Lockers

Free lockers are available at the shoe changing area.

  • ・Operations may be temporarily suspended during events such as skating lessons.
  • ・Due to weather or event circumstances, sales of day-of tickets, operating hours, or events may be canceled or changed.
  • ・Sales of day-of tickets at the ticket counter are available until 8:00 PM.
  • ・Re-entry is not allowed.
  • ・The cost of skate rentals is included.
  • ・Day-of tickets can only be purchased with cash at the venue. Lawson Tickets accepts various payment methods.
  • ・In the event of cancellation due to bad weather, please contact the day-of ticket counter for rescheduling.
  • ・Except in cases of cancellation, no cancellations, changes, or refunds can be made.
  • ・Advance tickets are available for purchase until 23:59 on January 31 (Friday).
Rules and Guidelines Inside the Skating Rink
  • ・Due to congestion, the number of people allowed in the rink may be restricted.
  • ・During peak times, numbered tickets may be distributed, and entry may be regulated.
  • ・Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by a guardian.
  • ・Wearing gloves is mandatory. (Gloves are available for purchase at the venue.)
  • ・If you do not follow the instructions of the staff, you may be denied entry or asked to leave.
  • ・Please do not lean on or sit on the fences.
  • ・In case of injury inside the venue, first aid will be provided, but we cannot take responsibility for any subsequent issues.
  • ・Dangerous activities, such as speed skating, group skating, or behaviors that may lead to falls, injuries, or disturbances to other users, are prohibited.
  • ・The use of mobile phones, smartphones, cameras, earphones, and headphones while skating is prohibited.
  • ・For theft prevention, please keep valuables on your person or use the lockers.
  • ・In the event of theft or loss, we cannot take responsibility.
  • ・If you do not follow the instructions of the staff, you may be denied entry or asked to leave.
  • ・Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the venue.
  • ・Those who are intoxicated will not be allowed entry.

  • ・The organizer will not be responsible for any travel expenses (including cancellation fees) incurred due to the event's cancellation or delay.
  • ・The organizer is not liable for any troubles, accidents, injuries, theft, loss, etc., that occur within the venue.
  • ・Photography and video recording may be conducted by the organizer or media representatives at the venue. There is a possibility that attendees may appear in these recordings.These may be used in television broadcasts, web news, and promotional materials after the event. Children in grades 4-6 (beginners welcome), 20 participants

If there are many applications, winners will be selected through a lottery, and only the winners will be contacted by email.
Skates will be provided free of charge.

Experience K-POP and special light displays to liven up the skating rink.
The TV tower will be lit up at the same time.

Can I go and enjoy it without bringing anything?

Skate rentals are available. There are also lockers for your belongings, so anyone can enjoy skating hands-free.
Note 1: Gloves are mandatory (available for purchase at the venue).
Note 2: We cannot store suitcases.

Is it okay for beginners or children?

We offer helmets for children and skating aids for beginners.
